Announces an employment opportunity for

Instructor, Cardiovascular Technology (Invasive)

Closing Date: Open Until Filled

Central Piedmont Community College is currently seeking an Instructor, Cardiovascular Technology (Invasive) position that is available in the Therapy and Acute Care Department located on Central Campus – Health Careers Building.

The Central Piedmont Community College Cardiovascular Technology Program is an accredited program located on the Central Campus.

The successful candidate will provide instruction and assessment of students in didactic and lab courses, as well as, clinical course instruction within the clinical setting.

Anticipated Hire Date:  Spring Semester - 2023

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday; between 8:00am - 5:00pm; Clinical courses offered between 7:00am - 5:00pm

Hours per Week:  40

Minimum Qualifications: 

Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field and be a current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Preferred Qualifications:

*  Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field

*  Teaching experience in a community college or university setting

*  Five years cardiac interventional experience, didactic and/or clinical teaching experience in a

variety of teaching areas

*  Experience in peripheral vascular interventional procedures

*  Experience in interventional valvular or structural heart procedures

NOTE: Licenses and/or certifications used for credentialing purposes are to remain current by

the employee, unless noted otherwise.
